Episode 1

In Episode 1, Adam is desperate to get a new job, Letisha is heading to Malaysia to reconnect with her family, and also try alternative therapies to ease her tics. Sian's tics have increased to the point that she’s not been able to go to school for weeks, Lashkar’s tics are so bad that he hardly leaves the house – except for once a week when he goes op-shopping for DVDs. In Nelson, Renee Harvey is still recovering from Brain surgery to reduce her tics.

Adam’s trying to become an Uber driver, and is also teaching fellow “ticker” Jessica to drive. Letisha’s in Malaysia hoping Chinese medicine will reduce her tics, Renee’s brain surgery has allowed her to look for her first ever part-time job, Lashkar’s desperate to get the same operation. Despite her tics, Sian’s hoping to become an independent artist, so she heads to a local gallery to find some inspiration.

Lashkar spits and swears his way through a curry-cooking session, Sian has a smashing time in the kitchen, Jessica’s struggling to afford her Sativex, Renee’s trying to get her first ever job, Letisha meets another young Malaysian woman with Tourette’s, and Adam heads to England to help the UK’s most severe Tourette’s patient.
